If you want to come to Bali, this is the place to stay. Away from the main entertainment areas, and away from rowdy and drunken tourists. This is our second time at Tamu Seseh in the last ten years. This boutique resort is located in a traditional Balinese village, walking distance from the ocean.
Each one of the four villas is very private and secure. Between the al fresco bathroom area, the air conditioned bedroom(s), the covered terrace area with private infinity pool and the elevated day bed area, there is ample space to relax in luxury and comfort. There is a fridge and cooking area for those who want to cook their own meals, but the resort has a diverse menu of both Western and Balinese style dishes, that can be served at any time between 7 am and 8 pm, at maybe 30% of what you would pay for a similar meal in Sydney.
Of late, some new eating places as well as a Day Spa (Cloud Spa) have opened in the area too.
Push bikes are available for free, and Agus the general manager would be happy to arrange a private driver and car for you for the day, should you wish to wander further afield. Needless to say, pick up from and drop off to Denpasar Airport is arranged by the resort.
Their staff are absolutely wonderful and will treat you with respect and kindness.
5 stars all the way, and thank you to all staff for making our stay special, once again.

We were initially attracted by the elegance in the design of property, and that the location was near the popular beaches but in a quieter village. Almost immediately after arrival we became aware of how truly wonderful our stay would become, as the careful planning of the property creates a seamless transition into an immersive balinese experience. Having the majority of the living spaces outdoors creates a feeling of constant connection with the bali environment, and importantly – with the people, as the staff that manage the property and provide delicious, authentic meals soon began to feel like family. Having access to mountain bikes was another thoughtful inclusion, as it allows easy transportation to explore local sites, coffee shops and sunset viewpoints. The romantic body treatment and flower filled bathtub in the courtyard was amazing. Our stay was a transformational experience and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Amazing Villa. 2 mins walk from my fave beach and cafes. Really Comfortable bed. The aircon worked well even in the afternoon a must in Bali. Staff were really nice laid back. Really can’t wait to re visit.

Absolutely phenomenal stay at Guys place. Such a special way to start of new journey in Bali. The villa is beautifully designed and laid out, and allows you to feel like you are both living in high end design luxury within a very nature filled environment. You will of course share your space with the nature that surrounds it – geckos, birds, butterflies and squirrels were regular and welcomed visitors. Also welcomed was the peace and quiet of the location, away from the madness of neighbouring Canggu, but still close enough to a few cafes, and shops by foot, or anything else you could want within a 15 min scoot or car journey. And Agus and his team are truly sensational in their care of you and the property during your stay. We LOVED the 7 weeks we lived at Tamu Seseh. And CANNOT recommend it HIGHLY ENOUGH! Guy himself is also wonderful. We had some WA comms before and during our stay. Knowing a place is owned AND run by good people is important to us. We did well to choose TS.

Architect’s retreat for two can also be named as Love Birds’ Nest for two, or paradise for two. and that is exactly how we felt at this beautiful place. My wife and I on our annual travel decided to travel to Singapore and Bali. After spending a very adventurous time in Singapore we were looking forward to spend quality time with each other away from the hustle and bustle. I cannot say how grateful we are to Guy (owner) for having such a beautiful place in Bali and Pina (manager) for managing it so well. We loved the stunning layout of the place, so private, so close to nature. We loved the fact that we were away from all the crowd and making our own memories. We loved that we could just ride the bicycles (the retreat provided us with) and reach the beach under 5 mins and ride through the rice fields waving to the friendly locals. We loved coming back home (felt like it ) and take a dip in the private pool. We also really enjoyed the candle light dinner (mouth-watering food, do not miss!!) that we had by the pool. or just soaking ourselves in the tub gazing at the stars…. and if we need to be any more clear about our stay at this architect’s retreat for two we would say ” WE LOVED THE PLACE :)”

We had the most wonderful time, from the house to the staff and the food, everything was just perfect. The attention to detail was unrivalled, the lovely staff came in of an evening and turned all the lights on for us, lit mosquito coils and made everything homely and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much to Pina and all the wonderful staff. We will for sure be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa! The nearby beach and rice fields are great to wander off exploring the area. And when you return to the house, you can take a relaxing dip in the pool, order some a snack from the amazing kitchen and enjoy a lazy afternoon. To explore some more distant spots, I would recommend renting a scooter for a day or two, as it offers a more intimate experience than driving around in a air-conditioned car. However, for destinations that are more than a 30 minute drive away, a car is the better choice as traffic is following some unwritten local rules. The staff is very friendly and can help with organizing tours and transportation. As I already mentioned the food is delicious, so make sure you try

It’s a very beautiful place to stay.
I can’t imagine anywhere more luxurious, relaxing, simple, and spectacular. I will never forget my stay here and it will be a lifelong dream to come back. Thank you for your hospitality, great service, cleanliness and perfect design down to the very last details. I will dream of outdoor showers among heliconias and dragonflies.
Thank you

Thank you Tamu Seseh for a wonderful stay. Your hospitality was amazing and we really appreciated how dedicated, helpful and genuinely caring all of staff have been. Ever since we stepped of the plane and meet Nyoman’s charming smile, we have been entranced by the pride and dedicated everyone has of this village and this villa. Every problem has been solved, every question answered. The people here are inspiring and a look around this beautiful village clearly indicate how tranquil, prideful and peaceful their lives are. Thank you for welcoming us into your village and we hope to come back soon.

This is my second time to Tamu Seseh. The first 2 years ago with my husband, this time with my mother. I love it here. I love being in the village, by the beach, surrounded by so much life! It is the most relaxing time I have had in Bali and my mother whose heart has not been so good has never looked more peaceful.
Thank you and I will be back.

This was our first time to Bali and Tamu Seseh. We found it so relaxing a true piece of paradise and the perfect place for our honeymoon. We loved the privacy of Villa 1. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. The lumpia were truly the best we have ever had, simply delicious. We are already making plans to come back.

It’s a home away from home!
But one with a difference. One couldn’t ask for more food, hospitality and service all of very special standard and it’s wonderful to find a village like Bali use to be. Found by default on the net which lead me to this treasure and its people therein.
Terima kasih to all
